It is now possible to install beta 1 of iOS 15, iPadOS 15, macOS 12 and more

After the inaugural conference of WWDC 2021 in which Apple has presented its new software, the company has already officially launched the first betas for developers of the new software you have introduced. This is something already common in all events of this type in the company, being able to let the experts test their applications and tools with the new versions and they can report errors. Of course, although it is not his focus, you too can install these betas.

What has Apple released betas for?

Well, everything new and without exception. We find that the company has published the first beta of iOS 15, iPadOS 15, macOS 12, and watchOS 8. These betas will be compatible with the same devices that will be compatible with the final versions, as announced by Apple during WWDC. We remember that these are trial versions still and we will have to wait for September or October to see all these systems launched for the general public. Therefore, a beta period begins every 1-2 weeks in which we will find improvements, as well as functions not yet enabled and even other news that the company has not announced at its event because they consider it irrelevant.

How can you install one of these betas

First of all we must remember that these are unstable versions that can bring with them numerous bugs such as applications that do not work properly, unexpected reboots, excessive battery consumption and even visual glitches in the interface. If, despite knowing these risks, you are determined, you should know that you can install any of the betas on your device, although in the case of the Apple Watch there is no going back, unlike the rest of devices in which it is possible to return to a previous stable version. In any case we recommend make a backup of your data previously.

That said, we remember that we already published an article telling how to install an iOS or iPadOS beta, although it is always good to be able to remember it. Keep in mind that the beta system right now is only operational for those people who are official Apple developers, although as time goes by we will show you the system you must follow in order to enjoy these news on your device.

In the event that you are an authorized developer you will simply have to enter the Apple developers website accessing your personal account with your credentials. Once you have accessed, you must scroll to the section that is dedicated to downloads and get the configuration profile. You must follow the instructions in Settings in order to finish installing it. When you have everything ready and the iPhone has restarted, enter Settings> General> Software update. Once this is done, you will simply have to update in a rudimentary way, although it must be taken into account that the servers may be saturated and it may take a long time to download and install your iPhone or any other device.
