IPhone 6s and iPad Air 2 are compatible with iOS 15

We have been talking for several months about the possibility of both the iPhone 6s and the iPad Air 2 will not update to iOS 15, because they have already completed their life cycle, marked by years of updates. However, as Apple announced yesterday, both the Phone 6s and iPad Air 2 will be updated to iOS 15.

The last time Apple took older devices out of the update cycle, it was due to none of them reach 2 GB of RAM that we can find in both the iPhone 6s and the iPhone 7. If I had eliminated the support for the iPhone 6s for the RAM, it would also have to be done with the iPhone 7 and that would not be good.

If you still have an iPhone 6s or an iPad Air 2, as is my case, seeing that the number of functions that Apple has presented in iOS 15 is not very high, but has focused on improve what already exists, I highly doubt that the excellent performance that both models show with iOS 14, can be affected with the next generation of iOS 15 and iPadOS 15.
