Extensions for Safari also arrive on iPhone and iPad

During the opening keynote of WWDC 2021, the Cupertino company unveiled the most important innovations for its operating systems. Definitely worthy of mention is the choice to bring the extensions for Safari also on iPhone and iPad

iPhone and iPad will essentially have access to the exact same extensions currently available on Safari’s Mac counterpart. For the uninitiated, extensions for Safari are integrations that add additional features to the browser such as VPN, password manager and much more.

Developers can now finally create universal extensions, a novelty that will certainly help improve Apple’s product ecosystem. These new extensions will obviously come in conjunction with the official release of the new operating systems in the fall.
