Shadow, a cloud gaming service that is gaining more and more users, no longer has an app on the App Store due to a violation of Apple’s guidelines.
Shadow is a cloud service that allows you to stream a PC game on Mac, smartphone and Apple TV, with functions very similar to those offered by Project xCloud from Microsoft and Google Stadia. Just today, the developers made it known that Apple has removed the app from the store for violating some App Store guidelines. At the moment, the Apple TV app is still available.
They have not been released further details on the reasons that prompted Apple to remove the Shadow app (perhaps related to in-app digital purchases), but the developers let people know that they are working closely with Apple to bring Shadow back to the App Store as soon as possible.
