Apple has plans to bring Spatial Audio with Dolby Atmos to Apple Music for Android in the near future.
Here are the company’s words:
All Apple Music subscribers using the latest version of Apple Music on iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple TV can listen to thousands of Dolby Atmos songs using any headset. When listening with compatible Apple or Beats headphones, Dolby Atmos Music will automatically play when available for a song. For other headphones it is necessary to pant on Settings> Music> Audio and set the Dolby Atmos switch to “Always On”. You can also listen to Dolby Atmos music using the built-in speakers on compatible iPhone, iPad and MacBook Pro, or by connecting your Apple TV 4K to a compatible TV or AV receiver. Android is coming.
Until now, Apple had mentioned the availability of these new Apple Music only on Apple devices, without ever mentioning Android. At the moment, however, the Cupertino company has not provided information on which Android devices may be compatible.
